Kapil Gupta

Prof. Kapil Gupta is a Full Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Technology at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, and a Visiting Professor at Cracow University of Technology, Kraków, Poland. He holds a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering with a specialization in advanced manufacturing, a master’s in computer-integrated manufacturing, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He has more than fifteen years of professional academic and research experience. His research interests include advanced machining processes, sustainable manufacturing, precision engineering, and industry 4.0. Prof. Gupta is a recognized researcher by the National Research Foundation of South Africa and an active member of various professional engineering institutions. He has authored and edited 20 international books on hybrid machining, advanced gear manufacturing, micro and precision manufacturing, spark erosion machining, and sustainable manufacturing.

Neelesh Kumar Jain is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Leader of the Centre of Excellence in Gear Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Indore, India. His research interests include advanced and micro machining and finishing processes, gear finishing, micro-plasma based layered manufacturing and joining and miniature gear manufacturing.
