Sapana Jadoun
Sapana Jadoun is an Assistant Professor and Member of the Academic Program Committee for PhD (CAP) in the Department of Chemistry at Universidad de Tarapacá, Arica, Chile, and an Associated Researcher at the Solar Energy Research Centre (SERC-Chile) under FONDAP ANID. She has secured multiple research funding sources, including ANID Regular, FONDECYT assimilation, UTA Mayor, and ANID Postdoctoral programs. She was also awarded Best Scientist of the Year by Scientific Laurels in 2025.
Her research group, Sol-ARIS (Solar Energy and Advanced Materials Research for Innovative Sustainability), centers on environmental and materials chemistry, with a particular focus on the development of innovative, sustainable, and advanced materials for photocatalysis, adsorption, pollutant removal, resource recovery, and environmental remediation for maintaining the circular economy.
