Descripción

Dissolvable Microneedles as Multifunctional Platforms for Cancer Management presents a comprehensive, lab‑to‑clinic overview of dissolving microneedles (DMNs) for cancer diagnosis and therapy, emphasizing painless, minimally invasive delivery and localized treatment. The book details DMN materials, design, and fabrication—including AI‑enabled and 3D‑printed approaches—then advances to theranostic applications such as immunotherapy, photodynamic therapy, exosome‑loaded systems, and stimulus‑responsive platforms. Translation topics cover regulation, scale‑up, and CMC, alongside supportive strategies during chemotherapy. Academic readers gain a structured synthesis of recent advances, practical methods, and clinical outlooks, positioning DMNs as patient‑friendly, cost‑effective tools with significant potential to revolutionize cancer care.

Puntos claves

  • Explains DMN materials, design, and fabrication, including AI‑assisted and 3D‑printed microneedle platforms
  • Integrates diagnostics and therapy (theranostics) across immunotherapy, photodynamic therapy, and stimulus‑responsive delivery
  • Guides translation with regulatory, scale‑up, and CMC considerations plus supportive strategies in chemotherapy management
