Mohammad Akram
Prof. Mohammad Akram is a Radiation Oncologist with almost two decades of clinical, academic, and research experience in the management of cancer patients. His expertise includes advanced external beam radiotherapy, brachytherapy, chemoradiation, and multidisciplinary oncology care, with a particular focus on improving outcomes for older adults with cancer through precision radiotherapy, toxicity mitigation, and individualized treatment planning. In addition to his clinical practice, he is actively involved in medical education, resident training, curriculum development, and initiatives that support technology adoption and patient-centered care. His academic activities include peer-reviewed publications, invited lectures, conference leadership, and research on cancer and the human microbiome. He has also served as an editor and contributor to scientific books and book chapters, including projects involving international collaborators.
