Shalender Bhasin

Shalender Bhasin, MB BS is Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Director of the Research Program in Men's Health: Aging and Metabolism at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, where he serves as Co-Director of the Center for Transgender Health. Dr. Bhasin has chaired The Endocrine Society's Expert Panel for Developing Clinical Guidelines for Testosterone Therapy and served as Associate Editor of the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism (2004–2009). He served as an Advisor to the WHO Task Force on Male Reproduction. He is Editor-in-Chief of the online AYUR Initiative on Transgender Health for Clinicians (The Endocrine Society of India, 2025). He has received the International Medalist Award of the British Society for Endocrinology (2025), the Lundquist Legends Award (2025), and the Life-Time Achievement Award of the Androgen Society.
