Mao Shang, PhD, Associate Professor hired by the university, is mainly engaged in the research of reactor thermal-hydraulics and safety, including but not limited to heat transfer enhancement of supercritical fluids such as supercritical CO2 and supercritical water, as well as the movement and deposition of fine particles. He graduated from Southeast University in June 2024, and joined the School of Energy and Power Engineering of Zhengzhou University of Light Industry in the same year. He has participated in one project of National Key Research and Development Program, one project of Jiangsu Province “Double Creation Talent”, and two projects of enterprises. He has published 15 SCI papers, 2 EI papers, 2 international conference papers, 3 patents and 1 software copyright as the first author. He was awarded the “National Scholarship for Doctoral Students”, “Outstanding Youth Report of the 12th China Pellet Conference” and “Excellent Scientific Research Paper of Jiangsu Materials Society”. He is a reviewer for international journals, including Energy, International Journal of Thermal Sciences, Case Studies in Thermal Engineering, Powder Technology and Nuclear Engineering and Design.
