Ahad Ghaemi is a Professor in the School of Chemical, Petroleum and Gas Engineering, Iran University of Science and Technology. His research interests include process design, modeling and simulation, gas and petroleum industries, computational fluid dynamics, artificial intelligence, artificial neural networks, separation and purification processes, synthesis methods, environmental engineering, nanotechnology, and nano-adsorbents.

Reza Norouzbeigi

Dr. Reza Norouzbeigi is an Associate Professor based in the Nanomaterials and Surface Technology Research Laboratory, within the School of Chemical, Petroleum and Gas Engineering, Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran. He received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology in 2011. Dr. Norouzbeigi’s research interests include adsorption, synthesis and characterization of nanoadsorbents, functionalized adsorbents, oil spill adsorption, ceramic nanocomposites, surface technology and nanocoatings, water/oil separation, and superhydrophobic and self-cleaning surfaces.

Hadiseh Masoumi

Ms. Hadiseh Masoumi has been a PhD student since 2019, under the advisement of Dr. Ahad Ghaemi and Prof. Hossein Ghanadzadeh Gilani, at Guilan University, where she also received her BSc and MSc degrees in chemical engineering. Her research focuses on the fundamental science and applications of polymeric adsorbents in the separation of toxic particles from wastewater and polluted air, as well as nanotechnology, drug-delivery, and leaching.
