Patrick Imrie
Dr. Patrick Imrie is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. His research focuses on polymer science and additive manufacturing, specifically stimuli-responsive materials for 4D printing. After completing his PhD in Chemical Sciences at the University of Auckland, he developed RAFT polymer networks exhibiting growth behavior in response to environmental triggers such as light. His doctoral thesis expanded the concept of 4D printing beyond shape morphing.
