Porous Nanocomposites for Electromagnetic Interference Shielding thoroughly discusses the fabrication, processing and design parameters of advanced materials for electromagnetic pollution suppression for high-frequency electronics. The book provides readers with an understanding of the important concepts and relevant advances in the engineering of porous nanocomposites for enhanced microwave absorption and EMI shielding. Porous materials reviewed include foams and aerogels which offer a robust and lightweight solution to design and fabricate microwave absorbers that can be a potential solution to stifle electromagnetic (EM) pollution.

Professor Sabu Thomas is currently an Emeritus Professor of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, India. He was the former Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University. He is a Senior Professor of Christ University, Bangalore, India. He is also a visiting Professor at the Department of Chemical Sciences, University of Johannesburg, Johannesburg, South Africa, Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand, and an Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Polymer and Process Engineering, IIT Roorkee, India. He is the Chairman of the TrEST Research Park, Trivandrum, Kerala, India. The H index of Professor Thomas is 163 and he has more than 133,000 citations

Avinash R. Pai is an Assistant Professor at the International & Inter University Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India. His research was funded under the auspices of Visvesvaraya Ph.D Scheme instituted by the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY), Government of India. As a part of his doctoral research, he was also a visiting researcher at Lancaster University, United Kingdom under the Newton Bhabha Ph.D Placement programme which was funded by the British Council & Newton Bhabha Fund.
