Erdem Cüce is a Full Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Istanbul Aydin University, Turkey, where he leads research in sustainable energy, low/zero-carbon buildings, advanced thermal systems, and renewable energy technologies. His research focuses particularly on building envelope heat transfer, thermal insulation, energy-efficient facade systems, and the experimental and numerical assessment of low-carbon building technologies.

Pinar Mert Cüce
Pinar Mert Cüce is a Full Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Istanbul Aydin University, Turkey. Her research spans low-carbon architecture, building-envelope technologies, heat transfer, thermal insulation, advanced energy systems, and HVAC-related applications. A particular strand of her recent work concerns the development and experimental assessment of bio-based and agricultural-waste-derived insulation plasters, including systems incorporating natural residues such as hazelnut shells, pineapple leaf and tea waste.
