    The mission of Gastroenterología y Hepatología is to cover a broad spectrum of themes in clinical gastroenterology and hepatology, including the latest advances in pathology of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas and bile ducts, making it an indispensable tool for gastroenterologists, hepatologists, internists and general practitioners, offering in-depth reviews and updates on issues relating to the specialty. In addition to the rigorously selected, systematically peer-reviewed manuscripts published in the research sections (research articles, scientific letters, editorials, and letters to the editor), the journal also contains other important sections, such as review articles in gastroenterology, hepatology and endoscopy, as well as clinical decision-making support papers, consensus documents and clinical guides from the most prominent scientific societies. The publication is the official journal of the Spanish Association of Gastroenterology (AEG) and the Spanish Association for the Study of the Liver (AEEH). The journal accepts articles in Spanish and English. The journal is included in Medline/Pubmed, Science Citation Index Expanded and SCOPUS.La misión de Gastroenterología y Hepatología es dar cobertura a una amplia gama de temas de gastroenterología y hepatología clínicas, incluidos los avances más recientes en patología del tubo digestivo, hígado, páncreas y conductos biliares, lo que la convierte en una herramienta indispensable para gastroenterólogos, hepatólogos, internistas y médicos generalistas, ofreciendo revisiones exhaustivas y actualizaciones de temas relacionados con la especialidad. Además de los manuscritos con revisión científica externa sistemática, rigurosamente seleccionados, que se publican en las secciones de investigación (artículos de investigación, comunicaciones científicas, editoriales y cartas al director), la revista también contiene otras secciones destacadas, tales como artículos de revisión de gastroenterología, hepatología y endoscopia, artículos que facilitan la toma de decisiones clínicas, y guías clínicas y de consenso de las principales sociedades científicas. Es la revista oficial de la Asociación Española de Gastroenterología (AEG) y de la Asociación Española para el Estudio del Hígado (AEEH). La revista aceptaarticulos en español y en inglés. La publicación está incluida en Medline/Pubmed, en la versión expandida del Índice de citas científicas, y en SCOPUS.

    Formación continuada en dermatologíaPiel is a journal oriented towards continuing education in dermatology. For this reason, its interest is not just limited to the Dermatologist, but it also extends to those physicians who started in this speciality, to those who practice outside the large hospital centres, and to those non-specialist physicians that are confronted with dermatological problems in their daily practice. The focus of the journal clearly prioritises continuing education in dermatology, and the updating of topics, taking into account the latest advances that could be of interest to the reader. Articles have to make it easy to identify and assimilate the most relevant aspects of the subject. To achieve this purpose, the journal is structured into sections: Novelties, Reviews,Signs guide/Differential diagnosis, Cases for Diagnosis, The Skin in daily Clinical Practice, Skin in the context of Medicine and its specialities, and Dermatological Therapeutics, among other topics. The journal's Editorial Committee ensures the rigour, quality, the practical interest, and the educational capacity, due to the careful selection of topics and authors, as well as for the variety of tables and illustrations that it uses.Piel es una revista orientada a la formación continuada en dermatología.
