The new title Spanish Journal of Psychiatry and Mental Health is indexed in SCIE/SSCI after transitioning from Revista de Psiquiatria y Salud Mental (2024 IF 4.7). The IF will move from the former to the new title in due course. The Spanish Journal of Psychiatry and Mental Health (SJPMH) is the official scientific publication of the Spanish Society of Psychiatry and Mental Health. The journal is oriented to the study of mental illnesses, their pathological processes, and their psychosocial consequences and aims to disseminate scientific advances in all fields related to illness and mental health. It accepts unpublished works on psychiatry and mental health, and its medical and social repercussions. For this reason, space is provided in the journal for research in the biological, clinical and psychosocial fields.The journal publishes topics including:Mental HealthSchizophreniaP... Psiquiatría Biológica is a peer review Journal that publishes Clinical Cases, Reviews and Original articles that provide an innovative view on the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders from a biopsychosocial approach. Its mission is to disseminate recent advances in the knowledge of brain biochemistry and physiology and the progress in general in the field of neurosciences, with a formative and informative purpose of the information. With this, the journal fulfills the double objective of contributing to the training of those who are starting in the specialty and of those who may be interested in the area of Biological Psychiatry. The journal publishes articles in Spanish and English.Psiquiatría Biológica sigue los procesos de revisión por pares en la selección de los artículos publicados. La revista publica Casos Clínicos, Revisiones y artículos Originales que aporten una visión novedosa sobre el diagnóstico o el tratamiento de los trastornos mentales desde un enfoque biopsicosocial. Tiene como misiín difundir los avances recientes en el conocimiento de la bioquímica y de la fisiología cerebrales y el progreso en general en el campo de las neurociencias, con una finalidad formativa y divulgativa de la información.
